The Laboratory Manager's duties will be divided across lab management / administrative and technical / scientific duties. Administrative duties will primarily involve general product ordering and lab organization (~65% time). Scientific research duties will initially center around the preparation of antibodies against target proteins (~35% time). The scientific focus will evolve as the project does.

Bachelor’s degree required; educational emphasis in Biology or Biochemistry preferred.
Skills required include standard biochemical / cell biological bench skills (solution preparation, protein expression and purification, cell and tissue culture, electrophoretic analyses) as well as antibody purification and immunoprecipitation. Molecular cloning experience a plus. Must be detail oriented, highly organized, and computer literate.
